Le Dr Mohamed Jalloh est un urologue form\u00e9 au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal (Afrique de l’Ouest) et travaillant comme urologue consultant \u00e0 l’H\u00f4pital G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Grand Yoff, Dakar. Il est professeur adjoint d’urologie \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Il poss\u00e8de une expertise dans le traitement des cancers urologiques et la recherche sur le cancer de la prostate chez les hommes d’ascendance africaine. Il a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la gestion d’un projet de recherche sur le cancer de la prostate financ\u00e9 par le NIH sous la direction du Dr Serigne Gueye, co-IP, en collaboration avec le Dr Timothy Rebbeck, co-IP de l’Universit\u00e9 de Harvard. Cette recherche \u00e9tait ax\u00e9e sur une meilleure compr\u00e9hension de l’\u00e9pid\u00e9miologie clinique et mol\u00e9culaire du cancer de la prostate chez les hommes s\u00e9n\u00e9galais, en mettant l’accent sur le d\u00e9veloppement de l’infrastructure de recherche.
\nCette recherche a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9largie pour former le consortium Men of African Descent Carcinoma of the Prostate (MADCaP). Par le biais de MADCaP, le Dr Jalloh est co-chercheur dans le cadre de subventions financ\u00e9es par le NIH\/NCI pour \u00e9tudier l’\u00e9pid\u00e9miologie g\u00e9n\u00e9tique du cancer de la prostate en Afrique et pour former la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de chercheurs sur le cancer. <\/p>\n

En 2013, il a termin\u00e9 une bourse de formation postdoctorale en oncologie urologique \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 de Californie \u00e0 San Francisco sous la direction du Dr Peter R Carroll, MD, et a publi\u00e9 de nombreux articles \u00e9valu\u00e9s par des pairs sur le cancer de la prostate.<\/p>\n

En 2015, il a obtenu une ma\u00eetrise en sant\u00e9 publique : gestion et contr\u00f4le des programmes de sant\u00e9 \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 Alioune Diop de Bambey, au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, et est devenu docteur en 2024 \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 Iba der Thiam de Thi\u00e8s, au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses recherches sur le cancer de la prostate.<\/p>\n

Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’Association s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise des urologues
\n(ASU) pour la p\u00e9riode 2022-2026.<\/p>\n

En 2024, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sident du comit\u00e9 local d’organisation de la 14e
\nconf\u00e9rence de l’AORTIC \u00e0 Dakar.<\/p>\n
