O seu interesse de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o reside no estudo da ultraestrutura dos m\u00fasculos card\u00edacos de vertebrados, com especial refer\u00eancia ao sistema tubular transverso, inerva\u00e7\u00e3o, jun\u00e7\u00f5es celulares e distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de organelos citoplasm\u00e1ticos.
