Session objective

The opening plenary will set the scene for the Congress by examining the current state of global cancer control, celebrating the progress made over the past decade while recognising the significant challenges that remain. Through perspectives from global leadership, governments, clinicians, civil society and regional organisations, the session will explore how evidence, policy and implementation can work together to accelerate progress and reduce inequities in cancer outcomes worldwide.
