The field of cancer prevention and control is broad and deep with numerous expert professions and public health concerns, hundreds of cancer types and many topics that need to be explored both for their pertinence to addressing the cancer burden across Africa as well from the perspective of finding bespoke solutions that can be applied in the health systems we have on our continent.
The Executive Council therefore encourages AORTIC members to propose and convene Special Interest Groups to develop an activity plan that will appeal to AORTIC members and is in line with the AORTIC 4-year workplan to further our cause towards Africa, as a continent where access to cancer care for all is a reality.
