To empower and integrate the next generation of African oncology professionals by fostering research, leadership, collaboration, and mentorship within AORTIC, while promoting innovation and access to training and career development opportunities across the continent.
The aim of the 4-year YALO-SIG work plan is to build a strong network of young oncology professionals across Africa by promoting AORTIC membership and mentorship, research capacity, leadership development, and access to training opportunities, aligning with AORTIC’s broader mission and the work of the African Cancer Leaders Initiative.
