The AORTIC Journal of Cancer Research is the official publication of the African Organisation for Research and Training in Cancer. The journal supports AORTIC’s vision of Africa, as a continent where access to cancer care for all is a reality.

The AORTIC Journal of Cancer Research includes a mix of peer-reviewed original research articles and invited manuscripts and welcomes submissions from both within and beyond Africa. We are committed to ensuring the journal is an open access publication to enable a wide readership. We are also committed to indexing and securing of an impact factor as soon possible.

What are APCs? Authors are asked to pay an APC in order for their article to be published Open Access under a Creative Commons license. This covers the costs involved in every stage of the publication process, from administrating peer-review to copy editing and hosting the final article on dedicated servers. The APC is determined at the time of acceptance.
