The conference provided a unique opportunity to strengthen scientific collaboration among Portuguese-speaking African countries and all in general and to advance a common agenda for cancer control on our continent.

Similar challenges were shared — developing health systems and limited resources — but  also shared innovation, resilience and a strong determination to transform the cancer landscape in Africa.
